Wyoming Theatre 2

Established 1927

August first and second 2009 were busy days at the Wyoming Theatre.  The Wyoming's "ghost signs" were re-painted.  We think the last time these signs were painted was in the 1950's.

Owners Tearle and Barbara Schmer and UNL architecural student Megan Lepper re-painted the signs.

We had tried to hire professional painters however no one was interested in painting on the old brick building.  Sign painting on buildings is a lost art.

We knew if we waited much longer to get the building painted the signs would be completely gone.

Stop by the Wyoming Theatre and see the changes.
